Are you planning a simpler, more meaningful Christmas this year? Many families are setting aside jewelry and toys, and rediscover the peace that comes from spending quality time with family and friends.

Just because you are simply the celebration of this year, that does not mean that you must renounce your family traditions, gifts, parties and decorations - although some families choose to do so. Instead, you can find ways to reduce your festivities. Focus on why you're doing these activities instead of what you have to do.

House, Christmas decorations can create a single season

Making home Christmas decorations together is a wonderful way to mark the start of a season easier. Creating decorations with your family and friends is a way to remind yourself why you celebrate the holiday season.

Here are some simple home Christmas decorations that you can do with your family and friends. They are easy to ensure that even the youngest members of your family can participate. While you do this, remember that perfection is not the goal. Instead, enjoy the time to get to spend together, and savor the memories of Christmas you do.

Glitter Christmas ornaments: Use the theme of Christmas cookie cutters to cut shapes out of heavy white paper. Cover one side of paper with craft glue drying, then cover with white radiance. When the side is dry, glue white flakes on the other side too. Let dry flat. When your ornament is completely dry, make a hole at the top and over with a colorful ribbon or string attached to your tree.

Then the lid juice Christmas Ornament: This house decoration is a beautiful memory, and can be given as a gift to grandparents. Cut a photo of your child or your family, to take on a juice can lid. Use a hot glue gun to glue lace or fabric trim around the lid, as a part of the picture. Make a loop of ribbon, and attach it to the back of your ornament.

String ball and Ornament: This is my favorite Christmas ornament house because they can be decorated in many ways. Skip a small ball (as large as you want your ornament to be) and cover it with fabric stiffener. Wrap colorful son or string around the ball until it is almost all covered. Let it dry and pop the balloon. Put a shed on top and add small decorations for your holiday ornament.

An alternative for this ornament is leaving open when you are covered string. When you miss the ball, hot glue lace or trim around the edges of the opening. Inside the ornament set up a small nursery, or other Christmasy theme. You can also make the biggest ball and use this decorative table as decoration.
